However Big Buck Bunny may appeal to a wider audience than ED as it looks more like a Pixar movie. What's so great about this movie? It was produced entirely on open source software. Blender , the 3D animating software used, now has features in it that large Hollywood studios pay thousands of dollars for. Not bad for community produced software!
